Call us at any time and we will do our best to ensure that the decisions you will make will not be regretted later and to assist you through what is one of life’s most difficult times.
The company was founded in 1897 by Bulwell joiner, Charlie Terry who always had aspirations to go into the funeral business. Many years later, now based in purpose built premises in Bulwell the business is run by the Great Grandson and Great Grandson of Charlie and continues to serve Bulwell and Nottingham.
Established in 1897, C.Terry Funeral Services has the objective of offering the very highest standard of personal service at the best price. Still owned and run by members of the founders family, we continue to serve Bulwell and Nottingham with funeral services.
We offer a wide range of coffins and caskets, including wood effect, veneers and solid wood coffins to alternative products such as Bamboo and picture coffins. Our sensitive staff will help you to make an intelligent and creative choice of coffin for the remains of your loved one.
Flowers are a simple and beautiful way to create a personal tribute at a funeral for a loved one. We can help you choose a suitable tribute from our wide selection of products, such as bouquets, wreaths and sprays, coffin displays and specialist designs. All of our arrangements are tastefully organised with freshly cut blooms of the highest quality.
We offer a range of funeral plans that deliver peace of mind for you and your family. Planning and paying for your funeral in advance means you get the funeral you want and your family are relieved of the financial strain that funerals can often cause.
Our horse drawn funerals include a white hearse pulled by either two or four dappled greys or for a more sombre feel, a black Victorian carriage pulled by handsome bay horses. All horses are highly trained and are accustomed to traffic.
Our Motor Cycle Funerals include an immaculate British Triumph motor cycle with a traditional hearse side-car. Our experience riders are fully insured and will wear appropriate clothing to seamlessly blend with your funeral procession.
For those people looking for a different and kind of burial, we offer the choice of a woodland burial in the Nottinghamshire countryside at the Oxton Estate, the Tithe Green Burial Ground. Loved ones can be buried in an informal meadow or woodland setting.
